"I want to go into film because I want to tell stories. Film has really had a huge impact in my life - it's all I do. I think about movies, watch movies, read about movies, I breathe film, absorb it. Short Term 12, an indie flick which came out a few years ago, made me feel things I'd never felt before in a movie, and I wanted to give that experience to other people. I've felt sadness (rarely), happiness, and love in my life and I want to translate that, those emotions, to screen. I just want to tell stories that make people think, make people feel, and make people talk. I think that's what movies are all about, and if I can do, I'm going to be a very happy dude. (or man).
I like having a record player because to physically have the music playing with me is something special. Getting music off of my laptop is great because I can get whatever what I'd like to listen whenever I'd like to listen to it, but there's something different, something really romantic I guess about a record player. It sounds different as well - I love the sound of a laptop, it's crisp, but again, there's a warm and sweet quality to the record player."
